Compozitie: g/lPeptonã caseinã 5,00 Lactozã 4,00Fosfat disodic 10,00L-cistinã 0,01Selenit acid de sodiu 4,00pH = 7,0 ??0,2Prezentare:Tuburi cu 7 ml mediu “gata de utilizare”.Principiu si interpretare:Mediul este utilizat ca mediu de îmbogãtire si izolare a salmonelelor din fecale, urinã si alte probe biologice. Peptona din cazeinã este sursa de azot, lactoza este carbohidratul fermentescibil iar fosfatul mentine pH-ul mediului atunci când selenitul este redus ca urmare a cresterii bacteriene si se produc compusi alcalini. L-cistina favorizeazã dezvoltarea salmonelelor.
