Zaharul tos trebuie sa aiba marimea cristalelor cuprinsa intre 0,3 – 2,5 mm. Proprietati organoleptice : Culoare : alb-lucios Aspect : cristale uscate, nelipicioase, fara aglomerari (nu se considera cristale aglomerate acelea care se desfac la apasare usoara cu mana)
