Aripiprazolul este indicat pentru tratamentul schizofreniei la adulţi şi adolescenţi cu vârsta de 15 ani şi peste. Aripiprazolul este indicat pentru tratamentul episoadelor maniacale moderate până la severe în tulburarea bipolară de tipul I şi pentru prevenirea unui nou episod maniacal la adulţi care au avut predominant episoade maniacale, care au răspuns la tratamentul cu aripiprazol
