Antigenul specific prostatei este cel mai important marker in evaluarea cancerului de prostata si are utilitate atat in depistarea cat si in monitorizarea acestei afectiuni. Testul rapid PSA foloseste metoda imunocromatografica in faza solida de tip sandwich pentru detectia semi-cantitativa a antigenului specific prostatic din probe de sange total/ser/plasma. Determinarea PSA este testul cel mai folositor pentru diagnosticarea cancerului de prostata. Multe studii au confirmat ca prezenta PSA este cel mai util marker tumoral pentru cancerul de prostata si pentru infectia prostatei din hiperplazia prostatica benigna (BPH). Scop: Testul rapid PSA foloseste metoda imunocromatografica pentru detectia semi-cantitativa a PSA (antigen specific prostatic) din probe de sange total/ser/plasma.
