Descriere De obicei, Acul Huber se foloseste pentru perfuzii prelungite (pastrandu-l in loc pentru o perioada indicata de 3 - 4 zile protejat de un pansament). Acele Huber se deosebesc prin lungimea acestora si au utilizari diferite in functie de alegerea finala a medicului in functie de tipul de port implantat si de pacient, conform urmatoarei scheme: • Ace subtiri de 15 mm pentru pacienti si/sau port profil scazut; • Ace 20mm: pacienti de dimensiune standard si/sau port standard si cu profil redus; • Ace de 25 mm sau mai mari: pacienti supraponderali si/sau port standard sau dimensiuni mari. Alegerea diametrului acului Huber (19G, 20G si 22G) este, aproximativ, in functie de tipul de solutie care urmeaza a fi perfuzata.
