Pulsoximetrul pentru deget este un instrument neinvaziv care permite masurarea saturatiei oxigenului arterial (SpO2) si a ritmului cardiac (frecventa pulsului). Saturatia oxigenului indica procentul de hemoglobina legata de oxigen in sangele arterial. Saturatia este masurata prin metoda numita pulsoximetrie.
