Melox conţine o substanţă activă numită meloxicam. Meloxicamul aparţine grupului de medicamente
denumite antiinflamatoare nesteroidiene (AINS), care sunt utilizate pentru reducerea inflamaţiei,
febrei şi durerii.
Melox este utilizat la adulţi în tratamentul pe termen scurt al poliartritei reumatoide şi al spondilitei
anchilozante (cunoscută ca boala Bechterew) atunci când nu este posibilă administrarea de
comprimate orale sau supozitoare.
