MINICAP IMMUNOTYPING este destinat detectarii şi caracterizarii proteinelor monoclonale (imunotipizare) în ser uman cu sistemul MINICAP, pentru electroforeză capilară. Este utilizat impreuna cu kitul MINICAP PROTEINE(E) 6, proiectată pentru separarea proteinelor în 6 fracţii majore, într-un tampon alcalin (pH 9,9). Aparatul MINICAP execută automat toate secvenţele procedurii, rezultând un profil proteic pentru analiză calitativă. Fiecare probă de ser este amestecată cuantiseruri individuale care sunt specifice contra lanţurilor grele gamma (Ig G), alfa (Ig A) şi Mu (Ig M), respectiv lanţurile uşoare kappa şi lambda (libereşi legate). Proteinele, separate în capilare de cuarţ sunt detectate direct prin absorbanţa de la 200 nm.
